Perth’s Sullivans Hotel is being offered to the market for the first time in almost three decades – unlocking a premium parcel of CBD real estate.
CBRE Hotels’ David Kennedy and Ryan McGinnity have been appointed to sell the Mounts Bay Road asset via an Offers to Purchase campaign.
Located on the doorstep of Kings Park, Sullivans Hotel comprises 71 tastefully decorated rooms, a licenced restaurant/bar, swimming pool, guest laundry and onsite parking.
The hotel, which has a distinct European flavour, has been a popular destination for offshore travellers for decades and benefits from a growing interstate and intrastate visitor base.
Mr Kennedy said the property’s location overlooking the Perth CBD and adjoining Kings Park would ensure its position for ongoing success.
“Sullivans Hotel offers excellent business drivers due to its premium position, which attracts tourists, corporates and convention trade,” Mr Kennedy said.
“Located just 750 metres from St Georges Terrace and 500 metres from the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, the hotel is positioned to capitalise on the growing corporate trade sector.”
Mr McGinnity said the hotel represented an attractive opportunity to gain a foothold in the Perth hotel market.
“This mid-size hotel presents beautifully and its manageable scale will attract buyer interest from both local and offshore buyers looking to gain a presence in the growing Perth market,” Mr McGinnity explained.
“With no other city hotel being offered to the market with vacant possession, there is likely to be a lot of serious interest from owner operators and investors.”
Sullivans Hotel is being offered for sale by Offers to Purchase closing 2.00pm WST October 21.
