Accor has reaffirmed its leadership with four out of six top placements in the 2025 Skytrax World Airport Awards for Best Airport Hotels in Australia / Pacific.
Accor, the largest hotel operator in the Pacific region, has reaffirmed its leadership with four out of six top placements in the 2025 Skytrax World Airport Awards for Best Airport Hotels in Australia / Pacific.
Leading the honours, Pullman Brisbane Airport has been named Best Airport Hotel in Australia / Pacific, marking the fourth time in the past five Skytrax Awards that the hotel has claimed this prestigious accolade. The property also previously secured a top 10 position in the World’s Best Airport Hotels in both the 2019 and 2022 Skytrax Awards, reinforcing its reputation as one of the world’s leading airport hotels.
“We are incredibly proud to see Pullman Brisbane Airport recognised once again as the Best Airport Hotel in Australia / Pacific,” said Alex Penklis, Chief Operating Officer of Brisbane Airport Hotels Group.
“This award is a testament to the passion and commitment of our team. Since opening, our vision has been to redefine what an airport hotel can offer – combining premium comfort, thoughtful design, and a seamless guest experience. To also see Novotel Brisbane Airport named among the top 10 in Australia/Pacific is a fantastic achievement and reflects the strength of our broader portfolio. To receive this accolade in such a competitive region reaffirms that we’re on the right path, and we look forward to continuing to raise the bar for airport hospitality.”
Accor’s strong showing in the 2025 results includes:
Accor Pacific has expanded its airport hotel portfolio by 144% over the past decade, with 22 hotels now operating across the Pacific region. The Group opened the Novotel and ibis Styles Melbourne Airport last year, a $230 million development featuring 464 rooms, world-class wellness facilities, and cutting-edge co-working spaces - positioning the airport precinct as a fully integrated destination in its own right. Accor will also open the first hotel on the Perth airport estate, the state-of-the-art 240-room Pullman Perth Airport, in 2027.
Across the Tasman, Accor launched the exceptional Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport Hotel, the first five-star hotel to open within the Auckland Airport precinct and already ranked the number one airport hotel in New Zealand. Just 100 metres from the international terminal, the hotel is a striking architectural landmark shaped by Māori design principles and cultural storytelling.
“Airport precincts are evolving rapidly, and Accor is proud to be at the forefront of this transformation,” said Adrian Williams, Chief Operating Officer for Accor in the Pacific. “Today’s travellers are seeking more than convenience - they’re looking for memorable, enriching stays, whether travelling for business, leisure or both. Our growing network of airport hotels is designed to meet those expectations, and these awards affirm the strength of that vision.”
From luxury to economy, Accor operates over 400 hotels in the Pacific region under renowned brands such as Sofitel, MGallery, Pullman, Swissôtel, Mövenpick, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure, Mantra, ibis, and TRIBE.
