Michael Thomas has also been appointed General Manager of Pullman Sydney Penrith and Western Sydney Conference Centre Trilogy Hotels and Panthers Group have signed a milestone management agreement where Trilogy Hotels will oversee operations for the five-star Pullman Sydney Penrith.
Forming part of a $110m investment from the Panthers Group, the newly-built 153-room Pullman Sydney Penrith opened in August 2023, marking a significant moment for Western Sydney, as Penrith’s first five-star hotel. The hotel has an existing franchise agreement with Accor.
Panthers Group is one of Australia’s largest entertainment groups with over 125,000 members across five licensed premises and employs 650 staff. The Group owns the premiership-winning Penrith Panthers NRL Team.
Trilogy Hotels is an independent hotel management company founded in Australia in 2023 by leading hospitality veterans Scott Boyes, Grant Alchin and Tony Ryan.

Michael Thomas has joined as General Manager of the Pullman Sydney Penrith and Western Sydney Conference Centre (WSCC), with over 35 years of experience, working with prestigious properties such as the Peninsula Group, Shangri La, BanyanTree, Hilton, and Accor. Most recently, Michael Thomas was the General Manager of Pullman Albert Park and Mercure Albert Park Melbourne with extensive conference facilities.
