Southport's Mantra at Sharks Hotel has plenty of reason to celebrate as it enters its third year of operation.
Mantra at Sharks has completed its second year of operation with plenty of momentum, offering a broad range of inclusive experiences to guests.
Situated in the heart of the Gold Coast health and knowledge precinct, the Southport hotel has introduced family and accessible rooms to ensure the product caters to all markets.
The Mr Sharky Family Experience has proved popular among guests, with Mantra at Sharks receiving more than 45,000 bookings and more than 1,600 online reviews throughout the past 12 months.
Mantra at Sharks has also announced the new extensions of the partnership between the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation (GCHF) and Southport Sharks, appointed as the new ‘Emergency Accommodation Provider’.
Members of the Southport Sharks have the opportunity to donate money to the foundation through the club, which can then be used to fund accommodation for ICU patients at the hotel.
The partnership was put into practice recently when a young couple needed somewhere to stay while their premature baby was monitored in ICU for two weeks,
General Manager Gabby Daniels told WILLIAMS MEDIA the agreement was an example of the established bond between the hotel and segments of the health and knowledge precinct.
"We are certainly seeing huge volume come through as a result of those people connected to either the Gold Coast Private Hospital or Gold Coast University Hospital," she said.
"There has been a real growth in our relationship with key stakeholders in the surrounding precinct."
