Adelaide's Pullman Hotel was recognised at the South Australian Tourism Awards held last week, winning Best Luxury Accommodation.
Pullman Adelaide was among the winners at the South Australian Tourism Awards held last Friday, named Best Luxury Accommodation in the state.
Having opened in October 2017 as part of the Accor portfolio, Pullman Hotel was established through Hines Property, which rebranded after seeing a gap in the Adelaide tourism luxury hotel market.
The hotel has had several upgrades since, including the guest rooms, gymnasium and fitness centre.
As part of the 5 star repositioning of the hotel, Pullman Adelaide opened its brand new Executive Lounge in November 2018 with the aim of taking the property to the next level of luxury.
Pullman Adelaide General Manager Llewellyn Wyeth said it was an honour to have the hotel's work recognised by SA Tourism.
"Pullman Adelaide is more than just a hotel," he said.
"It is a concept tailor-made for today’s luxury hyper-connected world where global nomads can feel at their very best whether travelling for business or leisure.
"The hotel’s repositioning in the premium luxury accommodation market in Adelaide was gaining momentum and this award is great recognition of our continued focus in repositioning the hotel in the luxury sector."
The hotel is about to embark on a $1 million refurbishment of the 15th floor next month, including new wall coverings, extensive use of stone, custom flooring, specialist lighting and state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment.
