Tamborine Mountain is a unique enclave of charming villages, eclectic visitor attractions and abundant rural properties, home to a local population of some 7,000 people.
It is a 30 minute drive to the Gold Coast and within an hour of Brisbane.
While the coronavirus pandemic has had an impact on the region in the last six months, the lifting of restrictions on travel has led to a renewed influx of local visitors with accommodation operators in the area reporting a surge in numbers, especially on weekends.
